90 Day Fiance's Steve believes Alina Should Never Leave Him
Updated: Oct 8
Ever wonder who the fans are of reality shows that cater to the lowest common denominator? Nice to meet you, I'm the lowest common denominator. One of my faves is the 90 Day Fiance franchise on the TLC network. There are countless spinoffs and I watch them all except Darcy and Stacy. I was listening to Steven, a young Mormon discuss how he would be devastated if his fiance, Alina wouldn't convert for him. He followed that up by saying something I found so disturbing I rewound the show three times to make sure I heard it correctly.
Steven went on to say that converting is the only guarantee that he and Alina will have to spend their lives and afterward together. What? Afterward? What afterward? The phrase is till death do us part not till death do us part and again afterward. So basically, not only do I have to worry about getting along with a spouse on this big blue marble, but I need to worry about getting along with my husband in the afterlife?
If I can't relax enough here on earth to form a relationship how am I supposed to manage relationships in the hereafter?
